Working in co-design area I was engaging with clients in workshops to make the thinking visual and where possible, visualisation is the brains super power it's both memorable and engaging it can get everyone onto the same page to solve complex problems. In my previous life I was a creative director working for some of the world's leading advertising agencies. I would put the concepts into small sketches called 'scamps' these might even be done on the back of napkins. With my copywriter partner we would leave the advertising agency to do our best work in a local cafe. The cafe owner would yell at us 'you have the best job in the world!' Whilst it looked fun the pressure for results was high, with many rejections. Most of the scamps were rejected but every now and again one grew up into a million dollar campaign.
